This is a fun, fundraiser and visibility raiser that honors Hispanic tradition, culture and directs people to El Buen Samaritano’s website where they will learn about all the services available for Latino and immigrant families.

El Buen Samaritano, Episcopal Mission  has been serving the Immigrant community for 30th years and we are here to stay!

We encourage you to Start a “Grito contest” among your family and friends by challenging them to Grito and then tagging them.  Upload your fun, crazy or serious and loud grito on Facebook, Instagram or even email.  Then go to elbuen.org and make a donation.

El Grito originates from Mexican Independence Day and has been the best primal yell for hundreds of years.  Unlike the cowboy “Yee-haw!”, it’s a cry for independence, a halt to oppression and a soulful shout, a cry for joy that moves and rattles the spirit.
