Medical Care Qualifications

Eligibility
Individuals who are residents of Travis County and have no health insurance or who qualify for Travis County’s Medical Access Program (MAP) are eligible for our medical services.

Scheduling a New Patient Appointment
If you are interested in becoming a new patient, you will need to start by calling our bilingual call center at 512-439-0700 to make an appointment with one of our eligibility specialists. In efforts to provide access to patient-centered care, we guarantee an appointment within two working days. There is no cost for this appointment.

Preparing for Your Appointment
You will need to provide our eligibility specialist with the forms listed below. You can save time by pre-printing and completing the forms needed for your scheduled intake appointment.

Appointment Day
At the time of your appointment, our eligibility specialist will review your documentation (see Forms and Information) and the services available to you and associated cost. They will also determine if you qualify for a discounted payment program and if you qualify for other healthcare programs, as well as social services such as food stamps, WIC.

At the end of your appointment, our specialist will work with you to schedule your medical visit or refer you to the clinic as a walk-in.

Should you need to reschedule you appointment, we kindly ask that you notify our call center 24 hours in advance.
