KLRU Play to Learn

El Buen partners with United Way of Central Texas to provide school readiness support for families with pre-school age children. New parents gain knowledge and tools to be more connected to school and the community by hearing from guest speakers as well as learning to use learning apps and other educational technologies with their families. Parents and children attend class weekly for 10 sessions.[/cs_text][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][cs_element_row _id=”22″ ][cs_element_column _id=”23″ ][cs_element_line _id=”24″ ][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][cs_element_row _id=”25″ ][cs_element_column _id=”26″ ][cs_element_image _id=”27″ ][cs_element_gap _id=”28″ ][cs_element_button _id=”29″ ][cs_content_seo]Click Here to Volunteer\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_text _bp_base=”4_4″]

PALS (Play and Learning Strategies)

PALS is a 14 week class that meets once a week for 2 hours for parents that have children 18 months to 4 years old. PALS gives parents strategies and activities for helping their toddlers with good behavior, reading and speech abilities. At PALS we know you are your child’s first and best teacher! Your PALS Coach will help you get your toddler ready for pre-k/kindergarten. Free childcare is provided for all parents who take PALS classes. The first 1.5 hours of class parents and toddlers will be in separate classrooms. The last half hour of class parents will visit the toddlers classroom to play with their children. El Buen offers this program in the Spring and Summer.[/cs_text][/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
