El Buen Samaritano esta orgulloso de haber recibido una contribución por $70,000 del Digital Equity del fondo All Together ATX de United Way of Greater Austin/Austin Community Foundation. El acceso a la tecnología e Internet es más crítico que nunca, ya que las escuelas y los trabajos seguirán siendo remotos en respuesta a COVID-19. El Buen Samaritano is proud to receive a $70,000 Digital Equity grant from the United Way of Greater Austin/Austin Community Foundation’s All Together ATX fund. Access to technology and the Internet is more critical than ever as schools and workplaces remain online in response to COVID-19. El Buen’s program will provide families with laptops, hotspots, and Internet access, and will connect participants to our afterschool enrichment, academic tutoring, and family education programs.
This is the second award El Buen has received from the All Together ATX fund. Previously, we were awarded $25,000 to support our emergency food pantry, which is currently seeing four times the normal demand due to COVID-19.
