With the help of the City of Austin’s Food Justice Mini Grant, El Buen Samaritano amplified their food access services. Twice a week, El Buen Samaritano provides dry goods and fresh fruits and vegetables to 150-180 families in Austin. Launched in 2021, the Food Justice Mini Grant offers funding to organizations supporting those in our community most negatively impacted by food-related injustice. Learn more at AustinTexas.gov/Food.
