¡El Buen Samaritano se enorgullece de recibir una contribución de $70,000 a través de la segunda ronda de fondos #AllTogetherATX! Con esto se apoyará un programa de Equidad Digital, el cual brindará equipo tecnológico y acceso a Internet a muchas familias, así como también dará acceso a servicios educativos de El Buen. ¡Gracias a @United Way for Greater Austin y @Austin Community Foundation por ayudar a las familias de Austin a tener acceso al mundo digital!
El Buen Samaritano is proud to receive a $70,000 Digital Equity grant from the United Way of Greater Austin/Austin Community Foundation’s All Together ATX fund. Access to technology and the Internet is more critical than ever as schools and workplaces remain online in response to COVID-19. El Buen’s program will provide families with laptops, hotspots, and Internet access, and will connect participants to our afterschool enrichment, academic tutoring, and family education programs.
This is the second award El Buen has received from the All Together ATX fund. Previously, we were awarded $25,000 to support our emergency food pantry, which is currently seeing four times the normal demand due to COVID-19.
