Understanding the foundations of prevention are vital to ending gender-based violence (GBV). This workshop will provide participants with a primer for understanding prevention and the stake all practitioners have in prevention strategies. It will also explore GBV’s impact on youth and elevate engaging and empowering young people as a form of prevention. Through interactive and discussion-based learning, participants will be grounded in prevention theory, youth engagement strategies, and how to connect with partners in the field.
